Period 6: Agenda for weeks of 1.4.10 & 1.11.10

Hello all. Hope you are all well rested and ready to go for next week.

Here's the schedule of events that will take us to the end of the quarter:

1.4.10: no class.
1.5.10: in-class Hamlet Act 4, Scenes 1-3, notes (I have your notebooks and will give them back).
1.6.10: in-class Hamlet Act 4, Scene 4, notes.
1.7.10: Poetry Out Loud class competitions, meet in the cafe to support Pamela!
1.8.10: (long block) in-class essay on your independent reading book. Essay question TBD, but you will need your book and be able to quote from moments in the beginning, middle, and end to answer question.

Homework assignment this week will be some sort of take-home writing assignment, TBD.

1.11.10: in-class Hamlet Act 4, Scenes 5-6, notes.
1.12.10: in-class Hamlet Act 4, Scene 7, notes.
1.13.10: no class
1.14.10: in-class Hamlet Act 5, Scene 1, notes.
1.15.10: in-class Hamlet Act 5, Scene 2, notes, last day of the quarter before mid-terms.
